VOTING:
If I were a member in congress then I would vote for and by the people I represented. As in they should vote the way the majority of their districts would vote. Although many things might change when the representative reaches congress, they should always have in mind who they are representing and why they are representing them. The people should have the final say in the matter at hand, so go with the constituents and not the conscience. They need to believe in the choices of the people, and unless it is so obviously wrong always side with them.

I agree. Members of congress are voted in to represent the people that chose them to be in office, not to gain a new power to do what they want with it, so they should vote the way their constituents want them to vote.
ReplyDeleteI agree that members of congress should always have their constituent's concerns first and foremost in their mind because they were elected by them to represent them. They are there to resolve the problems that are present do the best of their ability regaurdless of their own personal views.
